    • OAuth2 authentication with credentials secured in Azure Key Vault
    • Retry logic with exponential backoff (max 5 attempts); email alerts on success or failure
  • Permit Manager — Track every environmental permit and licence with automated expiry alerts.
    • Covers EPs, T/U Exemptions, WMLs, Mobile Plant Licences, Abstraction Licences and Planning Conditions
    • Stores reference, issue/expiry dates, permitted activities, conditions schedule and EA/LA contact
    • Three-stage alert system: Amber (90 days), Red (30 days), Critical (14 days) before expiry
  • Compliance Vault — Tamper-evident regulatory document repository with cryptographic integrity proof.
    • SHA file hash fingerprinting detects unauthorised document changes
    • Version control archives superseded documents with full change history
    • Audit log on every view, download, upload and replacement with user attribution
    • Role-based access (Site Manager+ by default) with expiry date tracking and alerts
